Let’s Talk About Religious Trauma (And a Free Resource to Help You Begin)
Religious trauma isn’t something that gets talked about enough but I’ve seen firsthand how real and painful it can be.
Whether you were raised in a strict religious environment, grew up feeling afraid to question things, or were made to feel like something was “wrong” with you for just being yourself… that stays with you. It shows up in your self-worth, your voice, your body, and how safe you feel in the world.
I’ve worked with a lot of people who carry these invisible wounds and what I want you to know is: you’re not alone. And your experience is valid.
Healing from religious trauma looks different for everyone. But I’ve found that creative expression can be a really powerful way to reconnect with your truth especially when words feel hard. That’s what inspired me to create a few resources I wish I had earlier in my own journey.
💌 I Made a Freebie to Help You Start
If this is something you’re just starting to explore, I put together a free resource that gently explains what religious trauma is and includes a simple art directive to help you reflect no art skills needed, just honesty and curiosity.
